Great scene (no spoiler) from the Movie Look Who's Back.
The journalist, Sawatzki, discovers that Hitler is not a performance artist, but indeed, a time traveling Hitler. Sawatzki confronts Hitler and holds him at gunpoint on a roof.
The book's author, Timur Vermes, is no Hitler apologist, but he capture the reality of Germany at that time. This is done in the attached scene. There's no discussion of the superfluous nonsense.
I watched a 15 minute interview with Vermes. He actually finds the humor in this, but the humor is not typical of funny Hitler movies.
